Vor genau zehn Jahren habe ich mein amerikanisches High School Diplom in Kalifornien gemacht. Wie so viele Austausch-Schüler vor mir musste auch ich auf die harte Tour erfahren, dass amerikanisches Essen gehaltvoller und der amerikanische Lebensstil kaloriensparender ist…In zehn Monaten bin habe ich es geschafft, mehr als 30 Kilo zuzunehmen. Projekt 100Kg (was ich nie auf meiner Löffelliste stehen hatte) kann ich also als “geschafft” abhaken.

Auch wenn ich nicht glaube, dass ich die 100-Kg-Klasse nochmal erreichen werde, denke ich, dass ein bisschen Sozialer Druck nicht schlecht für mich sein wird. Mein lieber Kollege Robert hat mich also auf folgende Idee gebracht: Jeden Monat ein Bild in denselben Anziehsachen und Ihr könnt die Lage dann ja selbst beurteilen und dem entsprechend kommentieren. Exactly 10 years ago I graduated from Frazier Mountain High School in California. Due to the fact that the majority of Germans associate Hollywood, and thus all Hollywood perfect body girlies, with California, a lot of people at home were confused when they saw me after ten months of living in California. I have managed to gain more than 50 pounds in these ten months.

Even though I am pretty sure that I will not make it to the 200pound-border again, I thought a little social pressure couldn´t hurt. So, every month I will post a new picture with the same  jeans and shirt (for comparison) and you may comment. 😉 Here is Pic Number one:
